Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your Öther you! account and associated data. Öther you! is developed by [Company legal name].
Option 1 · In the app (fastest)
- Open Öther you! and sign in.
- Go to [Settings → Account → Delete account].
- Confirm. You will be signed out and your account will be closed immediately.
Option 2 · By email
If you can’t access the app, send an email to [contact email] with the subject “Delete my account” from the [email address / phone number] linked to your account. We may ask you to verify that the account is yours. We will confirm when the deletion is complete.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile: name, photos, age, bio and preferences.
- Your messages and conversation history.
- Your usage data linked to your account.
Deletion is completed within [30] days of your request. It cannot be undone.
What we may keep, and for how long
- Reports you made or received, and records of rule violations, for up to [period], to keep the Service safe and prevent banned users from returning.
- Purchase records, for as long as required by tax and accounting laws.
- Information we must keep to comply with a legal obligation or a request from authorities.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription purchased through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in your store account settings to stop future charges.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can edit or remove your profile information at any time in the app. To request deletion of other specific data, write to [contact email].
